It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or owned by the Government of India, any state government, any ministry, any DISCOM (Distribution Company), any electricity board, or any government agency. The data shown on this platform is crowd-sourced from users and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. For official electricity complaints, call 1912 or contact your local DISCOM directly.

We reserve the right to rate-limit, block, or ban users who violate these conduct rules. We may also report illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.
5. User-Generated Content (Outage Reports)
When you submit an outage report (“Light Gone” or “Power is Back”), you grant livepowercut.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and aggregate that report for the purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your reports. Do not submit false reports.
We do not collect your name, phone number, or any personally identifiable information when you submit a report. Reports are attributed only by PIN code and timestamp.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service's design, logo, code, text, graphics, and calculators are owned by livepowercut.com and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
The live outage map uses OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and CARTO tiles. PIN code data is sourced from the official India Post PIN code directory.
7. Affiliate Disclosure
livepowercut.com displays affiliate links to inverter, battery, and solar power products. When you purchase a product via these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These commissions help keep the Service free. We only recommend products from brands we trust. Our recommendations are not influenced by affiliate commissions — we prioritize quality, ratings, and real-world reliability.
The Service also displays advertisements via Google AdSense. Ad content is controlled by Google and its advertisers, not by livepowercut.com.
